  • Precomp the layer so the scaling remains intact.
  • Scale your insert image to be the same size as the composition by using Layer > Transform > Fit to Comp.
  • After Effects applies corner pin effects based on the dimensions of the image, not the comp, so it can become disorted if the layer hasn’t been scaled.
